Cannes Film Festival Jury 2026

This year’s Cannes Film Festival Jury is packed with cinema talents from around the globe. Their ‘job’ is to watch all 22 films in the official selection of the 79th Festival de Film, and award the winner with the coveted Palme d’or at the Closing Ceremony on Saturday 23 May 2026.

UPDATE: The Festival de Cannes 2026 winners (including Palme d’Or) have been announced.

Here are all the members of this year’s Cannes Film Festival Jury:

  • Park Chan-wook: South Korean director, screenwriter and producer. PRESIDENT OF THE 2026 JURY
    BIO: Old Boy (Grand Prix winner in 2004), Thirst (Jury Prize 2009), The Handmaiden (2016), Decision to Leave (Best Director Award in 2022) and 2025’s No Other Choice.
  • Demi Moore: American actress and producer
    BIO: The Substance (Best Screenplay Award, Festival de Cannes 2024), Landman TV series, Ghost, A Few Good Men, Indecent Proposal, and G.I. Jane. Coming up in I Love Boosters, and Strange Arrivals.
  • Ruth Negga: Irish-Ethiopian actress and producer
    BIO: Presumed Innocent, Preacher, Loving, Rebecca Hall’s Passing
  • Laura Wandel: Belgian director and screenwriter
    BIO: Playground, Adam’s Sake
  • Chloé Zhao: Chinese director and screenwriter
    BIO: Hamnet
  • Diego Céspedes: Chilean director and screenwriter
    BIO: Winner of the Un Certain Regard Prize at the 2025 Festival de Cannes for his debut feature, The Mysterious Gaze of the Flamingo
  • Isaach De Bankolé: Ivorian-American actor
    BIO: Black Panther, The Brutalist, Casino Royale and soon to be seen in Dune Part Three
  • Paul Laverty: Scottish screenwriter
    BIO: Writer of two Palme d’or winners: The Wind that Shakes the Barley (2006) and I, Daniel Blake (2016).
  • Stellan Skarsgård: Swedish actor
    BIO: Sentimental Value (Grand Prix winner 2025), Good Will Hunting, Mama Mia!
