Why We Love It

NOMADS is one of Antibes‘ most popular meeting spots for locals and travellers. The atmosphere is friendly and conversational. If your palate is struggling with the slightly bitter taste of traditional French coffee, you’ll love Nomads’ coffee which is organic and craft-roasted. The café, founded by Austrian barista Evelyn Priesch, is in the heart of the Old Town, just a few steps from the Marché Provençal (local food market). Croissants and home-made cakes are on offer, with vegan and gluten-free options often available. They do offer organic milk options (lait végétal) like almond milk and oat milk, but there is no decaf coffee and you have to ask for a glass of water if you’d like one with your coffee. The staff speak several languages, including English, Spanish and French (and are great at communicating with babies and dogs too!). You can sit indoors or outdoors and enjoy watching the passersby.

Please note: The P’tit NOMAD coffee truck – which used to serve coffee, refreshments and delicacies under the shade of the pine trees at the Port Vauban harbour during summer – is no longer in action.
