Mountain Festival in Saint-Paul de Vence

After the success of previous editions, the magic of the mountains will once again descend upon Saint-Paul de Vence from 21 to 23 November 2025. Over three inspiring days, visitors will be invited to discover the world of mountain sports and meet passionate climbers and adventurers, all in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Expect lively activities, hands-on workshops, engaging talks, films, and exchanges. And, of course, magical evening screenings celebrating the beauty and spirit of the mountains.

This year’s edition pays tribute to Benjamin Guigonnet and Quentin Lombard. Saint-Paul native and accomplished mountaineer Benjamin Guigonnet, was a driving force behind the Festival. He was devoted to “introducing the world of the mountains to younger generations”. Quentin Lombard was a mountain guide and a ski teacher. They both tragically died in September 2025 following a car accident and this edition is dedicated to their memory.

Adventure lovers will be spoilt for choice. Among the activities on offer on 23 November: A giant zip line, rappelling down the ramparts, and a true mountain challenge. You could also explore the urban bouldering course, or watch a live mountain rescue demonstration.

For nature enthusiasts, don’t miss the Nature Through a Climber’s Eyes workshop. Or take part in the full-scale outdoor mystery game The Shadow of the Refuge (activity starts at 3pm, a fee is payable).
