La Braderie d’Antibes: August 2026 Shopping Sales

Shops in Antibes will be holding their annual braderie from 19 to 23 August 2026 in the Old Town. This is the first year that Wednesday (19 August) is being included too.

This is your chance to buy some items at your favourite shops and boutiques at reduced prices.

Organised by the Antibes Cœur d’Azur Federation, shop owners will have a wide range of ready-to-wear clothing, fashion accessories, jewellery, shoes, linen, crockery and more at incredible prices.

What is a braderie?

A braderie is an annual clearance sale held in most towns in France, on different dates, but with a difference – the shops wheel out their clothing rails and set up stalls on the pavement outside their outlet, so it’s like a big flea market with a wonderful atmosphere. Often streets are pedestrianised.

It’s a great opportunity to pick up end-of-season bargains while enjoying the atmosphere of a shopping festival.

Which are the most famous braderies in France?

One of the most famous braderies in France is the Grande Braderie of Lille which will this year take place from Saturday 5 September to Sunday 6 September 6 2026.

On the French Riviera, the most famous braderie is the Grand Braderie de Saint-Tropez which attracts shoppers from far and wide. This year’s dates are: 23 – 25 October 2026.

The braderie starts on Wednesday 19 August and runs until Sunday 23 August, starting at 10:00 every morning and ending at 19:00.
