Tucked beneath the umbrella pines of Cap d’Antibes and just a short stroll from the gates of Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, a new chapter in Riviera elegance is opening its doors tomorrow (Friday 18 April 2025). Introducing Hotel du Cap Villa Rental’s latest addition: Villa La Guettière. This Mediterranean paradise includes a renovated 1200m² Provençal estate with nine spacious bedrooms, an infinity pool, cinema room, private fitness room… and exceptional service.
Guests benefit from exclusive services provided by the exceptional team at the legendary Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc.
“From the care of a dedicated concierge, attentive butlers and housekeepers, discreet security, and an outstanding private chef, every detail is handled with meticulous care,” says Oetker Collection (which owns Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc). Villa guests are also granted privileged access to the hotel’s on-site services and amenities.
This is the third villa in Hotel du Cap Villa Rental’s exclusive collection, which already includes Villa Les Cèdres, located in the hotel’s private park; and Villa Eleana near the main entrance.
According to Oetker Collection, the Villa La Guettière estate spans over 6,500 square metres of secluded (and scent-drenched) gardens, framed by Mediterranean sea views. .
Villa La Guettière
La Guettière unfolds across two residences: a six-bedroom main house (with an elevator) and a three-bedroom guest pavilion. Each bedroom comes complete with its own en-suite, and some offer a private terrace. The heated infinity pool is flanked by a chic pool house with a fitness studio, lounge, and shaded dining spaces for long Riviera lunches.

The villa – which accommodates 18 adults, and parking for eight cars – is surrounded by 6,500 square meters of lush private grounds.
Inspired by the Mediterranean
Inside, the ambiance is an ode to serenity. Interiors have been curated by Comtesse Bergit Gräfin Douglas of MM Design Frankfurt, blending natural textures—linen, rattan, wood—with custom furnishings and a calming palette drawn straight from the Mediterranean itself: sand, sage, and deep coastal blue.
Comtesse Douglas says: “My primary inspiration was, of course, the Mediterranean itself—with its sun-drenched hues and rich, earthy tones. We embraced the Riviera’s love for outdoor living by incorporating open, airy spaces and seamless transitions between the interior and exterior.”

The lower level offers a private wine cellar perfect for after-dinner tastings, a private cinema for twelve, and a full wellness suite featuring sauna, hammam, and total escape.
A Legacy of Style
The architectural soul of Villa La Guettière carries the famous Svetchine name. The late Russian-born, French architect André Svetchine – who designed the Fernand Leger museum in Biot, Riviera villas for Marc Chagall and a renovation for Christian Dior – also led the renovation of Villa La Guettière in the 1970s.
Now, his son Luc Svetchine has stepped in to honour that legacy while elevating it for a new era. “It’s a composition of volumes, like a Provençal hamlet,” he says, “each one speaking the same architectural language.”
“Our goal was to honour the existing architecture while breathing new life into the space,” he explains, and ultimately “evoking an authentic Provençal hamlet.”
The property has been designed to celebrate the effortless elegance of life in the South of France. “Sunlit facades, shaded terraces, and bright, airy interiors create the perfect setting for gatherings with family and friends,” says Oetker Collection.
Living, the Eden-Roc Way
From breakfast in the garden to candlelit feasts beneath the stars, dining at Villa La Guettière will always feel like a celebration. A formal dining room welcomes 18 for elegant soirées, while a summer kitchen complete with pizza oven and pulley barbecue keeps things playfully Provençal.
An Invitation to Slow Down
Guests are encouraged to explore the Riviera, dive into the Med, go on a boat excursion, wander the art-filled villages, hike the coastal trails… or simply linger on a sun-drenched terrace with a chilled glass of rosé. Villa La Guettière is both a sanctuary and a launchpad—a place to retreat from the maddening world, recharge, and revel in life’s finer moments.
Villa La Guettière is poised to be more than a destination. It’s the Riviera dream.
