The Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) is launching a new initiative this year, Blue Wake, which will see an increase in the visibility of environmentally sustainable solutions throughout the show. Since 2022, the show has had a Sustainability Hub, but Blue Wake takes the importance of sustainability to another level.
Innovations with stronger eco-responsibility will be featured across MYS 2025, reflecting the industry’s increasing commitment to a more sustainable future.
With superyachts under constant scrutiny for their environmental impact, Monaco Yacht Show is recognising the importance of sustainability as a core industry focus and says it is evolving its approach to further support and highlight forward-thinking solutions.
“Sustainability has become an essential driver of innovation in yachting, and our role at MYS is to provide a platform where these advancements can gain the recognition they deserve.” says Gaëlle Tallarida, Managing Director of the Monaco Yacht Show.
“With Blue Wake, we are reinforcing this commitment by ensuring that sustainability is an integral part of the event experience, engaging all stakeholders in meaningful discussions about the future of our industry.”

As it did with the Sustainability Hub, the Water Revolution Foundation will again support MYS in identifying solutions that will contribute to real progress in the industry.
Robert van Tol, Executive Director of the Water Revolution Foundation, adds: “This initiative is about more than visibility – it’s about credibility. Through a rigorous vetting process, we are ensuring that the solutions presented under Blue Wake genuinely contribute to making the yachting industry more sustainable. It’s an opportunity for companies to demonstrate their commitment and for the industry to continue its progress toward a more responsible future.”
Visitors (including yacht owners, builders and investors) will be able to engage directly with the latest innovations driving environmental sustainability in yachting. The annual international show for the luxury superyacht industry takes place at the end of September.
