Despite the ongoing renovations along the Juan-les-Pins coast, there are a handful of beautiful private beaches on this stretch of the Côte d’Azur that ARE open for the 2025 season. All the visuals on this page were taken this week (25 and 26 April 2025). The Mediterranean is sparkling in anticipation for the season, with sunbeds (matelas or transats) lined up and waiting for you to relax, splash on your sun lotion, and gaze in wonder at the sweeping views from Cap d’Antibes on the left, to the Lérins Islands and Cannes on the right.

If you haven’t ever, lunching on a Juan-les-Pins beach with your toes in the sand is a magical experience worth putting on your bucket list. If you’re dining in the evening, make sure to get there before sunset – the light is incredible and you’ll understand why so many famous artists from Matisse to Picasso fell in love with the French Riviera and its luminosity that bathes everything – and everyone – in a golden hue.

Wait, there’s more…
Apart from the other private beaches with restaurants on Cap d’Antibes (including Belles Rives, Restaurant Baba and Plage Keller), you could also head in the opposite direction to…
La Petite Plage, Golfe Juan
Although it’s not in Juan-les-Pins anymore (it used to be), we couldn’t not mention La Petite Plage which is now in Golfe Juan, and is one of the coolest beach restaurants to spend the day on the Riviera. With a sign that says “somewhere in the sun”, this is an oasis of fun between Cannes and Juan-les-Pins, with delicious meals and mezze dishes served beneath a roof strung with ropes, and with music always floating in the air (and very cool DJ sets). Sundays are party days and usually booked out well in advance.
