Event ends at around 5pm.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>All profits will be donated to the fight against cancer.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, BlinkMacSystemFont, -apple-system, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Open Sans', 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">Participation fee: \u20ac15.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Register at the start, or by clicking <a href=\"https:\/\/www.helloasso.com\/associations\/ligue-contre-le-cancer-06\/evenements\/3eme-defi-rose-d-antibes\">here<\/a> (all online tickets have been sold out).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Other activities for Pink October on the French Riviera, 5 October 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h2>Nice<\/h2>\n<p>In Nice the 5km walk starts at 10.15am, and the 7km race at 9.30am.<\/p>\n<p>Participants and spectators are invited to <strong>meet at 8.45am in the\u00a0Albert 1er gardens<\/strong> (entrance via Place Massena) for &#8220;numerous activities and warm-ups accompanied by music from a sports coach&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>More info: <a href=\"https:\/\/soscancerdusein.org\">https:\/\/soscancerdusein.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>SOS Breast Cancer South PACA and Corsica say they hope the event will raise awareness of:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the importance of regular physical activity<\/li>\n<li>the prevention of breast and cervical cancers<\/li>\n<li>the need to &#8220;feel yourself, listen to your body and consult a gynecologist every year;<br \/>\nand the need to have a mammogram every 2 years for screening beyond the age of 50&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Villefranche<\/h2>\n<p>A similar sporty and friendly event will be held in Villefranche. The 5km walk\/run starts earlier though &#8211; at 9am. There is also swimming and an aquathlon.
