The 64th edition of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival<\/a> is poised to make history –\u00a0 with not one, but two remarkable women leading the way as Jury Presidents for 2025. For the first time since its inception, the prestigious Nymphe d’Or competition<\/strong> will be guided by a dynamic duo: American actress Judith Light<\/strong> and French journalist and filmmaker Mireille Dumas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Judith Light, Fiction Jury President at Monte-Carlo TV Festival<\/h2>\n

Judith Light, a powerhouse across theatre, film, and television, brings a legacy of artistic excellence to her role as President of the Fiction Jury. Who can ever forget her as the mom Angela Bower in hit TV sitcom Who’s The Boss? (1984-1992). With multiple Emmy\u00ae and Tony Awards to her name\u2014not to mention a coveted star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame\u2014Light’s recent screen presence includes roles in HBO\u2019s Julia (you can watch on Max in France), Starz\u2019s Shining Vale, and the darkly satirical The Menu opposite Anya Taylor-Joy and Ralph Fiennes. When not dazzling onscreen, she serves on the board of New York\u2019s MCC Theater, championing the next generation of storytellers.<\/p>\n
