For it has once again joined forces with the cancer charity <strong>GEMLUC. <\/strong>To raise much needed funds for research and equipment. Last year 37 204 euros were collected in the fight against cancer, as a result of the different actions highlighted by the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters during the tournament.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GEMLUC <\/strong>was founded in 1973 with the support of Princess Grace of Monaco. It stands for <strong>Groupement des Entreprises Mon\u00e9gasques dans la Lutte Contre le Cancer<\/strong> (Group of Monaco Companies United in the Fight against Cancer). And it is now under the honorary presidency of Princess Caroline of Hanover.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>OBJECTIVES<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>GEMLUC<\/strong> is a non-governmental charitable organization. Its goal is to raise funds to:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Support fundamental and clinical research<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Offer help to patients and their families<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Contribute to disease prevention, detection and cancer care<\/p>\n<h3><strong>RESULTS<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ba8fb4a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ba8fb4a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n<p>In the 52 years it has been operating,<strong> GEMLUC<\/strong> has been able to donate, thanks to contributions and legacies, several million euros to the Scientific Centre of Monaco. Enabling it to bolster its role as a major international player in cancer research.<\/p>\n<p>And the funds also made possible the donation of equipment and materials to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chpg.mc\/?lang=en\">Princess Grace Hospital Centre.<\/a> Strengthening its status as a centre of cancerology excellence. In 2023\u00a0<strong>GEMLUC <\/strong>funded the implementation of <a href=\"https:\/\/catalogs.bbraun.com\/en-01\/p\/PRID00012156\/oncosafety-remote-control\"><em>Oncosafety<\/em><\/a>, thereby enabling the safe administration of individual chemotherapy treatment at the Princess Grace Hospital.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>SUPPORTERS<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In addition to benefiting from the support of the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, <strong>GEMLUC<\/strong> also counts the <em>Monte-Carlo Country Club<\/em> and the <em>Automobile Club of Monaco<\/em> among its ardent supporters.<\/p>\n<p>And its most vocal spokesperson is undoubtedly M\u00e9lanie-Antoinette de Massy, the President of the Monegasque Tennis Federation and the Monte-Carlo Country Club. She has been instrumental in raising the profile of this cancer charity at various fund-raising events. Her passion for raising awareness of this charity stems from a very personal reason. As her mother, Baroness Elizabeth Ann de Massy, sadly passed away from cancer in June 2020.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Following her death, it was truly a necessity. I wanted to get involved in this cause.
