Romantic Restaurants for Valentine’s Day on the C\u00f4te d’Azur<\/strong><\/h3>\n

L’Atelier des Saveurs, La Colle sur Loup<\/h2>\n

Inspired by the rhythm of nature, Chef Stephane Garcia creates a seasonal menu renewed every two weeks. His dishes highlight local produce with a nod to his Basque culinary heritage. At L’Atelier des Saveurs<\/em>, authenticity, respect for fresh ingredients and the pleasure of sharing come together in a journey of flavours.<\/p>\n

His Valentine’s Day menu, entitled “L’Amour en Bleu” is a homage to Yves Klein, a renowned French artist who is buried in this charming village. He famously gave his name to a colour, le bleu Klein <\/em>which became the International Klein Blue, a deep blue hue that is instantly recognizable. To give you an idea of what you will savour, expect the unexpected, with seafood dishes named Immersion<\/em> and Depth<\/em>, and for dessert, Absolute Blue<\/em>. And you will dine serenaded by the talented singer Laurent Abela and guitarist Eric Nicolino.<\/p>\n

Mirazur Restaurant, Menton<\/h2>\n

Mauro Colagreco has forged a distinctive culinary voice through his intuitive approach to ingredients and flavours. Rooted in his Italian-Argentinian heritage and shaped by the chefs who influenced him, his cuisine at Mirazur<\/em> is guided by the seasons and the produce of his own gardens. He creates vibrant dishes defined by bold contrasts, refined textures, and a deeply personal sense of place.

For Valentine’s Day, he has created a Surprise Five-course menu and despite my insistence, the staff refused to give me any clues. But they did say that the Chef would be happy to accommodate any food allergies or dietary restrictions.<\/p>\n

Justin Schmitt began his career as an executive chef at the H\u00f4tel de Crillon in Paris, followed by a stint at the iconic restaurant Laurent. Today, he brings his creative vision to the South of France, ushering in a new era of culinary innovation at Ch\u00e2teau Eza, <\/em>inspired by the sea and its surroundings.<\/p>\n

If you are a lover of seafood his menu, which includes Truffle-infused Scallops and seared Langoustine, is sure to make your taste buds sing. Just a word of warning if, like me, you prefer to abstain from eating pigeon, mention it when making your booking. And they will offer you an alternative.<\/p>\n

Les Terraillers, Biot<\/h2>\n

Just moments from the steep, cobbled lanes of Biot\u2019s historic village, a remarkable 16th-century building reveals a story deeply rooted in Proven\u00e7al heritage. Once a pottery workshop with walls of finely cut stone, it now hosts the elegant Michelin-starred restaurant Les Terraillers<\/em>. Its name pays tribute to the potters who once shaped everyday tableware from \u201cterraille<\/em>\u201d, the region’s clay, preserving the tradition of local\u00a0craftsmanship.<\/p>\n

Two dishes on the Valentine’s Day menu caught my eye, the Grilled John Dory with candied lemon from Menton and the Roasted Dublin Bay Prawn.<\/p>\n

Restaurant Le Pavyllon, Hotel Hermitage, Monte Carlo<\/h2>\n

A triple Michelin-starred chef, Yannick All\u00e9no belongs to the very select circle of the world\u2019s greatest culinary talents. At his Monaco restaurant Le Pavyllon<\/em>, his guiding principles are seasonal, fresh ingredients and a strong focus on plant-based produce. You will also experience carefully curated food and wine pairings, and a personal service that puts the guests first.

If you choose to book at the central counter, you will have a front-row seat. And get to watch each dish come to life in a setting designed by interior architect Chahan Minassian.<\/p>\n

Chef Yannick Alleno’s Valentine’s Day gastronomic menu includes five courses and a half bottle of champagne. I have to admit I am intrigued by the White Asparagus starter with vanilla buds and the Sole Filets braised in Yellow wine.<\/p>\n

La Table du Chef <\/strong>in Cannes is a fine dining restaurant usually offering a surprise blind tasting menu inspired by the best of the season.
\nGuided by daily market finds and trusted suppliers, from the Forville Market to local butchers and fishmongers, the Chef Omar Nimaga designs each menu according to the finest produce available. The result is a cuisine that is deeply rooted in the Mediterranean terroir.<\/p>\n

His Four Course Valentine’s Day menu includes mouth-watering dishes such as Scallops with Beetroot risotto and Beef Fillet served with a Truffle jus.<\/p>\n
