This September, we spoke with two families to understand what makes the school so special to them. Their stories reflect a shared sentiment: Mougins School is a place where children flourish.<\/span><\/p>\n

A Transformative Journey: Pierre L. and His Son, Rapha\u00ebl<\/b><\/h3>\n

For Pierre L., originally from Montreal, choosing Mougins School was a pivotal step in his family\u2019s journey. His son Raphael graduated in June 2025 after an outstanding academic path\u2014five A Levels, including two A*s\u2014and is now studying Bio-Resource Engineering at McGill University with a scholarship.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pierre recalls their first encounter with the school vividly: <\/span>\u201cWe started scouting for schools, came to Mougins School, and of course we fell in love. Enrolling our son was one of the best decisions we ever made.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

What stood out most was the environment of care and encouragement that shaped Raphael\u2019s development: <\/span>\u201cHe really bloomed here. Coming to Mougins was truly a turning point for him. He always felt at home, and there was always a network of support he could fall back on,\u201d<\/span><\/i> Pierre explains.<\/span><\/p>\n

He speaks warmly of the staff: <\/span>\u201cThe teachers, the support team\u2014everyone cares. They know most kids by name, which is always surprising!\u201d<\/span><\/i> For him, the community extends far beyond the classroom: <\/span>\u201cIt\u2019s not just the school and the students. The parents play a role too\u2014think of International Day or Sports Day. It\u2019s a decision we\u2019re really happy we\u2019ve made.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Growing With Kindness: Maryam B. and her Twins, Year 2<\/b><\/h3>\n

For Maryam B., a French parent whose twins have been at Mougins School for 4 years since the LaunchPad, daily enthusiasm speaks louder than words. <\/span>\u201cMy children literally run to school every morning,\u201d<\/span><\/i> she smiles.<\/span><\/p>\n

She emphasises the personalised attention her children receive: <\/span>\u201cThe teachers have been incredibly attentive. At Mougins School every child is accompanied, every child is understood.\u201d<\/span><\/i> For Maryam, one phrase above all captures the spirit of the school: <\/span>\u201cIt\u2019s difficult to describe Mougins School in just one word, but I would say \u2018caring approach.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Despite coming from a French educational background, Maryam feels completely confident in her choice: <\/span>\u201cAs a French mum, I have no hesitation in sending my children to an English school. They are growing in an incredible environment.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
