According to the mayor’s office\, Antibes has been selected for the Olympic Flame’s journey in recognition of “the sporting commitment of our city and its athletes”. \nWhat route will the Olympic Flame take in Antibes?\nThe torchbearers will follow a coastal route from Pointe du Bacon to the Fort Carré stadium\, passing along the newly inaugurated Promenade des Remparts where members of the public can watch from three places (at the intersection with the three perpendicular avenues). Members of the public can stand anywhere else along the route except for the Cap d’Antibes section from Salis. \nWhat time will the Olympic Flame be welcomed to Antibes?\nThe event is expected to last 1 hour and 15 minutes\, with the flame leaving Pointe du Bacon at 15h07 and arriving at Fort Carré stadium at 16h22.
